Located at Bandar Sunway opposite of Sunway University, After Black offers a variety of food and their cuisine is a fusion of asian and western. The opening time is from 10AM to 11PM.

This place serves all sorts of food but their menu has a unique twist as each of every one of the food has something different. For instance, the sandwiches they serve is not like an ordinary sandwiches you get from any convenience store or any coffee cafes such as Starbucks or Coffee Bean. It uses the same bread as a toast dessert.

Not only that even their drinks served there is pretty good. The coffee is served is smooth and the cups that are being used to serve retain the heat for the coffee thus it would much more of a delight to have a hot cup of coffee. Even the hot chocolate too but I would say it is a bit too sweet for me but you can request the staffs to reduce the level of sugar. I would give it an 8.5 out of 10.

As for their salad menu, honestly it seems very normal as you can get it practically anywhere in many cafes or restaurants nowadays. But the price for the salad list is actually quite reasonable but I don’t find the urge to actually go back there and get another bowl of salad. I’d give it 6 out of 10.

This is called an open sandwich. This uses the same bread a toast dessert. This in particular is called a the “big boss”. It consists of smoked duck breast, sunnyside egg, rockets, bacon and sweet potato fries on the side. This is one of their must try as it is tasty and mouth watering. If you ever come to after black, you must try this. I’d rate it 9.5/10.

This is called their black rice set. There are a few option of meat that can be chosen from such as salmon, chicken and crab. The unique part of this dish is the black rice. Not many places serves black rice as it is considered a delicacy for some people. But it is actually good their black rice as it is fluffy yet the consistence of it being really good.

This is the interior of the restaurant. It has a cozy vibe yet being up to date. It is a good place for a meet up or even a date. But the one issue is the restaurant is not as spacious as many of the current restaurant. But other than that, it is really a good place to have lunch or dinner and I’d recommend this place to my fellow readers to give it a try and bring their loved ones here too.
